Why's that? (Genuinely asking).

It's not merely that they got rid of the name because of its nazi roots. In psychology, we've come to understand that autism is a complex spectrum (rather than a straight line from "low functioning" to "high functioning"). So not only is the name Aspergers offensive, categorizing Autistic people this way is inaccurate and unhelpful.
