This is great! I remember the child psychologist telling us, after our son was assessed & diagnosed as 2e, to ensure we don't just focus on the fact that he's "smart". There will always be someone smarter than you, and if being the smartest kid in the room is your primary identity, then where are you? We focus on fostering his other traits such as kindness, caring, compassion, hard work, etc. Thank you for sharing this story!
