The capitalist belief IS insane. Happiness is often defined as having free time to do what we CHOOSE and WANT to do, as opposed to things we need and have to do.

Those who have to work 45-60+ hours per week just to make ends meet don’t have “free” time. When they’re not working they’re recovering from work so they’re fit to work again the next day. It’s a cruel cycle and I can’t believe we’ve allowed ourselves to be treated this way for so very long.
