I would say that medication has hepled a lot. Maturity and a fully-developed PFC help too lol. Self-regulation/emotional-regulation skills, mindfulness, and doing what I can do keep my stress levels lower. I definitely find I am more impulsive when I am vulnerable: tired, sick, stressed, etc.
