This statement is what the marketing wants you to believe. I am glad your son learned important skills needed to keep him safe. However, the idea that he couldn't have possibly learned them any other way is very short-sighted.
There are so many different ways to teach skills, and there exist many ways which are more humane, respectful, and person-centred.
