I've read all of Alfie Kohn's work.

I have been in education for 20 years. I’d extend this argument through high school if not life. 

Our incessant focus on intellectual development and memorization is literally killing our kids. I can share the suicide data and write on this a lot. 

School is not designed for kids or learning.…

I've read all of Alfie Kohn's work. We are in Canada, where the focus isn't quite so intense on standardized testing, but we're heading in the same direction.
