My best friends are military families -- my best friend grew up a "military brat" and then married a military man who was also a military brat himself growing up. We live in an area with a Canadian military base, so there are lots of military familes here. Funnily enough, a lot of Neurodivergent people join the military as they find the structure and predictability helpful.
