I used to experience this frequently. I still do, but less often now. Some call it "ADHD burnout". A friend of mine who almost certainly has undiagnosed ADHD calls it "dungeon days" where he wants to close all the curtains, turn off all the lights, snuggle into a blanket, and do nothing for one full day.

Thank you for your honesty. As a fellow ADHDer, I have days like these, but I have found some treatmnets and management (not "life hacks"!) that *help*, but you are completely correct, our brains will always work differently and we will always have struggles as a result. I have, however, been able to identify some of the positives, such as creativity, thinking outside the box, and hyperfocus :) I hope you can too <3
