I think that's what the author of the psychology today article was trying to do, but they did it very poorly (lol). I take issue with Aron making up a new diagnosis so as to avoid calling her daughter Autistic, but that certainly doesn't mean the term HSP might not be helpful for some. My concern would be those who gravitate to it due to stigma and ableism, missing out on the opportunity to truly understand themselves and better undersatnd autism beyond the stereotypes.
