I relate to this so much. It was worse when I was younger, I had absolutely zero boundaries for myself, and would bend over backwards for others at the expense of my own physical and mental health. I still have to make myself useful, have to be smart or helpful or athletic, in order to feel worthy. I am starting to set healthier boundaries, but I don't know if I'll ever see myself as worthy without some external form of being useful.
