I read it in this article: https://doi.org/10.3389/fpsyg.2019.02066 (Gao et al., 2019) -- it was specific to social cognition and proprioception, not general motor skills and coordination through.

Personally, I have strong gross motor skills, but poor fine motor skills. I very much relate to not knowing my own strength and using too much force with something that requires little! I used to break the tips of pencils off on a regular basis lol.
