I feel like I need to add a disclaimer for those who are brand new to my writing.

Nowhere did I say that trans people can't or don't actually transition, work hard to "pass" (for safety and/or for personal gender presentation preferences), I just said the word trans isn't short for transition.

Of course there are some who work very hard: undergo medical procedures, take voice lessons, purchase entire new wardrobes, and on and on.

I am in no way trying to minimize that, nor the danger presented by CIS transphobes "pretending" in a mocking way to be trans in order to "prove a point".

Nowhere did I say any of those things. The one of my text may be aggressive, but if you'll look at how I've responded to criticism, I am open to it--when it is thoughtful and actually reflective of what I wrote.
