Actually you’re wrong on a lot of statements here. Family DRs use checklists (such as the SNAP-IV), whereas psychologists conduct a full psychoeducational assessment.
The only reason I mentioned my qualifications was because you were trying to talk down to me and explain things I had clearly read and understood. Disagreeing with something isn’t the same as not understanding it.
Brain scans have clearly identified differences in ADHD brains compared to non-ADHD brains. We just don’t perform them regularly because of the extreme cost.
Clearly you need to educate yourself before trying to talk down to people who know more about the subject than you. Not sure why you’re so vehemently defending Maté, but I assure you, he doesn’t need your help.
