Absolutely, that was one of the first sentences in my article. However when Autistics share information and try to educate people about the potential harms, they are often shouted down by "autism moms" who take it personally and refuse to listen.

We're not always right and different people certainly have different experiences and journeys... but it's important to listen to Autistics about Autistic experiences. <3
